Lauren Jacobsen Interior Design Newsletter

I am always studying design and products.

I spend time venturing into the marketplace to see what is new and stimulate my creative senses. Doing so is more than just “product research,” it is fun and can also lift your mood. It was what inspired me to create the mood board you see above, in anticipation of Spring.
I want to share some of the great pieces I found at Chairish. A marketplace where you can go shopping for great things.

I selected a few things I saw as fun and festive furnishings for spring.
Today, the idea of upcycling and repurposing furnishings from the past is sought out more than ever. I like to mix periods and styles; it keeps interiors uniquely interesting and timeless. It not only creates a sense of story that can be brought forward, but it also keeps wonderful design pieces in use and not in a landfill somewhere. It just takes a little imagination, and it's a whole lot of fun.
Spring is always a time of newness. If you have been considering a change to your home, or should you need help crafting that story, so your home is a true reflection of who you are today, we are available and happy to help. After all, if you are not living your best life, what are you waiting for?
Welcome to spring.
